Decatur, IL – We’ve made submitting permits with the City easy, using our online opengov portal. All permits are online, including certificate of occupancy, boat dock permit, fence permit, swimming pool permit, and many more. If you need assistance with our online system, you can call Building Inspections at 217-424-2787. We also have a tablet available in the Community Development Office on the 3rd floor of the Decatur Civic Center.
