Public Survey on EV charging infrastructure needs in Decatur
The City of Decatur is seeking public feedback about electric vehicle (EV) knowledge and where charging stations and other infrastructure would be best deployed in Decatur. Please consider taking opens in a new windowthis survey to provide feedback! It is for planning purposes only and takes about five minutes to complete.
This feedback will help our consultant better identify information, electric grid, and infrastructure needs in Decatur and Macon County. The consultant will use the results to prepare an Electric Vehicle Readiness Plan (EVRP) with funding support from the Illinois Department of Transportation. The EVRP will put Decatur in a better position to obtain grants for future EV charging equipment and other EV infrastructure. Residents and businesses can submit feedback by taking the survey before May 15, 2024.
